Pregnancy, move, Thanksgiving and soon Christmas vacation!

Time flies! Also, with time flying I get wrapped up in life and forget that I made a promise this year to keep at it with blogging especially with my paleo journey and life journey. Anyways, I am back!!
A lot has happened! We found while we were still Texas that were expecting a baby! It is silly to look back and see how freaked out I was about things because I didn't get pregnant on the first try. Ladies, try not to obsess or schedule your lovemaking with your spouse it will make it stressful and harder to conceive.
So how did I find out you ask? Well, after a night out of going to a 80s cover band concert and drinking a lot--oops, the next day I just had this inclination that I needed to take a pregnancy test just for kicks at 9pm at night when hubby was asleep for an early flight the next morning. I took a test that a friend gave me, one of those dip sticks that work most of the time. I came back after the prescribed time and had two lines for positive and thought huh this thing is broken, but then was freaking out. I called my best friend and she said, "you go straight to Walgreens right now and get the sticks to pee on." Well I did and chugged a bunch of water to the point of almost barfing. Took 4 tests all positive!! You can imagine how hard it was to not say anything to the husband when he asleep and I wanted to be completely sure after seeing a doctor. The next day, I went to the doctor and had the test and results called back by the nurse confirming I was pregnant! The cutest way to announce to Alex was to display a picture of the pee sticks as his wall paper on his computer when he got home. He usually checks his computer and when he got home he didn't right away, so I asked him to look something up on his computer for me and then he saw it and said, "Is this for real!?" Then the rest was history! We are so happy! Also, found out a while back we are having a baby girl! Her name will be Amelia Isabelle Cuevas!
We knew our time in Texas was temporary so we had to leave by the end of July into August and miss our crossfit gym there. It has not been the same here because the gym we thought would be like crossfit has just been more a joke. The owner is great and knowledgable but can't be everywhere. He is the only one watching form and the other trainers aren't. So I was working out there up until beginning of November when I was doing heavy deadlifts (for a pregger lady) and  must of did something wrong with my form because after that my hip didn't feel right and just had sharp shooting pain on my right leg/hip area. After a couple days I decided to use a chiropractor for help since were traveling in a couple days and wanted to not limp around. They fixed me and apparently I had shortened right leg since it was misaligned. Happy that is all better, but not working out so much. :(
We spent our Thanksgiving with my hubby's brother and wife in MD. That was fun..we spent a good 5 days there. They took us to Washington D.C. and that was fun to see although freezing cold. Hoping to get back there to actually see more museums next time.
We are getting things ready here as we can for Amelia's arrival in March. Still waiting on the in laws to get us the crib so our nursery can be complete. Probably will be a shower or Christmas present we assume.
I never mentioned how difficult was to get a job here and yes I applied even before I knew I was pregnant. Out of the 50 positions I applied for at the hospital, two interviews I got, but no one hired me. It's sad because now it's a year since I graduated and by the time baby girl is here will be a year since license with no job. I really need to get back to into it. Hoping by late summer I will feel comfortable to seek employment even with a little one.
Our plans for Christmas are to fly out AZ (home) to see our family and friends for the festivities! We are having a baby shower while there too! :) Will update as I can and not wait 6 months!
